Archemedia was a digital signage start-up that targeted both advertisers and venues. They wanted a very clean website that allowed the focus to be on a video that demonstrated their product. LF provided a sleek and sophisticated look that was understated to ensure their video would really stand out.

LF was commissioned by a digital signage start-up to develop their brand identity including company name, logo, and product name. They wanted to communicate their product’s technological savvy and credibility, yet also a sense of fun and entertainment. Archemedia was inspired by the Greek inventor, Archimedes, and the product’s name, Tadow!, was inspired from rapper, Ice Cube. Seriously.

Axis Global Partners changed their name from Axis Integrated Solutions as a first step in repositioning their brand to cater to a more global clientele. To complete their branding transition, they asked LF to develop a new logo and corporate identity package that would be consistent with the new global vision they had for their business software solutions.

BioVision needed two types of collateral to target both physicians and patients. The physicians’ pieces included a much more technical description of their product, InVue, and required a more conservative look. For patients, we need to educate them as to what InVue does and how using the product could enhance their life; therefore, the look was much warmer and designed to appeal emotionally.

BioVison needed a site that would enable physicians to place orders for their intercorneal lenses and function as a resource for patients. LF integrated the physician portal with their Oracle ERP system to automate their online sales and fulfillment processes, making it easy for orders to be placed and for inventory to be accurately managed.

BioVision was a Swiss-based optical company with an innovative lense to treat presbyopia, called InVue. They required a corporate identity that would appear technological and credible. The design also needed to be clean and modular, as the BioVision logo would need to visually relate to the InVue logo. As both names included the letter “v,” that was used as the design’s focal point.

Bob Dornin needed a fresh identity to communicate his unparalleled knowledge of coastal real estate in Orange County, CA and needed a new logo to show his name prominently. A Laguna Beach sunset inspired his color palette and visuals to reinforce his specialty and the unique beauty of the area. We created a timeless and understated logo centered on his name that would appeal to his sophisticated clientele.

As such, they needed an identity that represented their expertise in both start-ups and the healthcare industry. Given the innovative and evolving nature of their industry, LF created a look that is progressive and fluid.

CATS Communication provides GPS tracking systems for both business and personal use. They target employers who use their products to know their employees’ locations, as well as parents who want to know where their children are at all times. LF provided them with various collateral pieces tailored to each demographic that were visually related to reinforce CATS’s emerging brand and product series.

ClientLook is software that offers service professionals a better way to communicate their activity (calls, emails, visits etc.) to their clients. It introduces a new type of technology that can integrate with numerous popular customer management solutions. To introduce the product to the public, LF was commissioned to create the name, ClientLook, as well as the logo, stationary, style guide and desktop icons.

Global Recycling Group is an emerging company specializing in transforming waste into energy. They needed their brand identity to echo their commitment to sustainability and green innovation. The final logo LF created represented the relationship between nature and technology, while using a familiar shape to communicate GRG’s focus on recycling.

John Picard is an international sustainability guru and needed a corporate identity for his consultation services company. LF designed a logo that symbolically mirror’s Picard’s purpose: moving people from their traditional methods to sustainable methods. It shows a progression from a square box to a globe, from crude to sophisticated, from brown to blue. The result is Picard’s goal: a vibrant earth.

Konan Medical is a well-established Japanese company that leads the world in specular microscopes. When expanding to the U.S., they wanted a more current look and feel for their brand. Despite their products’ success, their brand was not widely known, so it was important to incorporate the new look into the product logos as well. The hexagons were inspired by the microscopic view of corneal tissue.

LF developed a comprehensive auction site for the buying and selling of mortgage backed notes. From creating the strategy, to the functional specs, to integrating third party sites, LF developed the entire application and database for the site, start to finish. In addition to searching, users can submit their preferences through the portal to receive recommendations based on their criteria.

Matthew McConaughey’s site needed a dual set of functions— one for his official fan site and the other for his production company, J.K. Livin. We developed an entire social community within flash and custom “sliding” interface to seamlessly integrate the two. The font in Matthew’s handwriting, a 3D animated tree frog, and interactive fan forum are some of the features that make this site unique.

Mingle Aprons is a new line of fashion-forward aprons for the modern hostess. To launch their brand, they asked LF to create an identity, logo, tagline, and price tags that communicated their sassy, yet sophisticated creations. The logo features an “I” dotted with pink champagne bubbles to symbolize the intended demographic; feminine woman who like to look fabulous while entertaining.

Our task was to find a compelling way to promote economic development in Irvine, CA; we chose to leverage some of Irvine’s highly successful companies with recognizable brands. We profiled 7 thriving companies through print ads, correlating company profiles on a mircosite, and short video interviews with C-level company executives as to why their company chose to call Irvine home.
