The story
Fanthropic is a game-changing community of sports fans, athletes and professional teams empowering individuals to make a real and lasting impact for causes that matter. Harnessing the passion of fans and the power of teamwork, we combine sports and philanthropy to create an exciting new model for giving back in the hometown of every major and minor league sports team across the country. Our campaigns deliver the ultimate win-win for fans: a chance to win the sports experience of your dreams, while joining forces with your most admired athletes to help deliver on the dreams of others. We conducted a series of workshops with the Fanthropic team to determine their business objectives and the best platform to build Fanthropic on. After completing the Discovery + Strategy phase of the engagement, we concluded that Shopify Plus would be best to power Fanthropic. Not only did we design and develop their platform, we also created an app that captures entries for each experience and randomly selects a winner.
